I. Our principles regarding the processing of personal data

At Turk Nippon Insurance, we make a point of;

a) Processing personal data in compliance with the law and the principle of integrity,

ç) Keeping in tune with the purposes and observing the limits applicable to processing,

II. Disclosure on Personal Data Processing

Article 10 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDP) requires the provision of information to the persons whose data are processed, at the time of obtaining their consent. The title of the said article is `Data Controller's Obligation to Inform'. According to the provisions of KVK, Turk Nippon Insurance is the 'data controller'.In this context, the disclosure obligation imposes the obligation to inform the 'data subjects' about the identity of the data controller, the purposes of personal data processing, the persons to whom personal data are transferred and the purposes of transfer, the legal reasons for the collection of personal data, to whom the data can be transferred and the methods of transfer, and the personal data subject's rights specified in Article 11 of the KVK, such as updating, deletion or anonymization requests the personal data subject may submit to the data controller.

As Turk Nippon Insurance, we inform and enlighten all our visitors and our valued customers, who are data subjects for the purposes of Article 10 of the PDP, with the brief Disclosure Statement provided below.

III. Identity of the Data Controller:

Article 3, paragraph 1, subparagraph (ı) of the PDP defines the data controller as "the natural or legal persons who determine the purposes and means of processing personal data and who are responsible for the establishment and management of the data recording system". In this context, the data controller is our company whose web pages you are visiting.

IV. Data Processor

According to Article 3 of the PDPL, the term data processor refers to the natural or legal person who processes personal data on behalf of the data controller, based on the authorization granted by the data controller.

V. Means of Processing Personal Data

Your data is kept and processed by Turk Nippon Insurance only in the presence of your consent or in compliance with the law.

VI. To whom and for what purpose the processed personal data can be transferred

Your personal data collected and processed in our company in accordance with the PDPL are processed only for the purpose of performing the work, and in accordance with confidentiality agreements.

As noted at the beginning of our statement, personal data obtained in a limited extent may be transferred to our company's solution partners and companies that serve as performance assistants. In this context, personal data received from policyholders are shared with insurance companies, reinsurance companies and reinsurance brokers in order to create an offer. Such sharing takes place as per the Insurance Law and applicable regulations.

Persons/organizations to whom personal data may be transferred for the purposes stated above: Persons or organizations permitted under the Insurance Law and other regulations, including but not limited to reinsurance companies, brokerage companies, agencies, assistance companies, actuarial companies, medical companies from which we receive consultancy services, survey companies, supplier companies and firms, traffic consultancy companies, contracted service stations, research companies, hospitals within the scope of health insurance, insurance companies and all companies and firms that we work with to carry out insurance activities, public legal entities such as the Undersecretariat of Treasury General Directorate of Insurance, Insurance Association of Turkey, Insurance Information and Oversight Center (Tramer); our principal shareholder; our direct or indirect, domestic or foreign subsidiaries; program partner organizations, domestic/foreign insurance companies and other third parties from which we receive services, with which we cooperate and cooperate in order to carry out our insurance activities.
